About the Role

We are currently seeking an individual who has a passion for community services and improving lives of children. You will be responsible for provide casework support to children, young people and their families, you must have the ability to show empathy and maintain confidentiality along with contributing to a positive culture of learning and growth in a challenging environment.

Essential Criteria

• Degree in Social Work / Psychology or related discipline
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain functional and supportive relationships with children and young people and their families to reach positive outcomes
• Coach, mentor and provide guidance to parents/carers in the provision of care to children
• High level interpersonal skills; including the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders; and contribute effectively autonomously and within a team environment
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in working within the OOHC industry

Remuneration

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Level Five, Pay Point 1). Generous salary packaging, a motor vehicle, regular supervision and professional training opportunities are provided.
