The Volunteer Support Team is the central hub for all things volunteering. We provide best practice guidance to services and centres, handle external volunteer enquiries, support volunteer recruitment, and run programs and communications that recognise, reward, and retain our volunteers. By doing so, we play a crucial role in enhancing our organisation’s community profile and volunteer engagement.
We are seeking a tech-savvy office all-rounder who can assist with the daily operations of our team. In this role, you’ll support both internal and external stakeholders with a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth communication and effective processes. This includes responding to enquiries, implementing recruitment and retention initiatives, and maintaining precise volunteer data. If you are passionate about community services, enjoy engaging with diverse groups of people, and excel in a dynamic office environment, this role might be perfect for you.
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Clerks Private Sector Award, level 3. Potential above award margin for the right candidate. Generous salary packing benefits available to the successful applicant.
Wesley Mission is a Christian organisation requiring all staff to affirm its values and Code of Conduct. We are committed to providing an environment in which children can feel safe and valued.
The suitable applicant will be subject to the relevant pre-employment checks for appointment to positions within Wesley Mission (including provision of a valid Working with Children Check clearance number). Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
