The Adolescent Family Services suite of programs provides time-limited, tailored support to young people aged 12-17 years and their families or carers. Our focus is on preventing statutory intervention and homelessness by addressing family conflict and relationship breakdowns. We offer a range of interventions, from early intervention to intensive support, to help resolve issues and create lasting change.
As a Practitioner in the Adolescent Family Services program, you will play a key role in providing outreach-based assessments, mediation, case management, and tailored interventions to both young people and their families. This is a highly rewarding and dynamic role where you will support young people in crisis, foster stronger family relationships, and assist in connecting them to crucial services in the community.

In addition to your salary of (SCHADS Level 5) + super, you can access the following.
To be successful in your application you will possess a Bachelor of Social Work, Youth Work, or relevant tertiary qualifications and practical experience in case management. You should have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people and marginalised families, particularly in the context of adolescence and family dynamics.
