Our Therapeutic Foster Care Program is designed to provide nurturing and responsive care, helping children heal from trauma and thrive. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Home Based Care Therapeutic Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality support to children and young people in foster care, working closely with foster carers, families, and a network of professionals. You will ensure that each child receives the specialised care they need to overcome their past experiences and achieve their full potential.

In addition to receiving a salary commencing at SCHADS Level 5 and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a post-secondary qualification in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or relevant qualification (if Diploma level, willingness to study further).
