About the role

Would you like to be part of the team that helps children with disabilities be included and participate in the kindergarten program? Our Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) program helps create inclusive environments for all children, including those with disabilities, developmental delays, or complex medical needs.

We currently have a part-time role in Foster for school term placement in 2024 working Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. You will work closely with Early Childhood Educators and Teachers to enable children to access and participate in their Kindergarten program.

You will receive a comprehensive induction and access to ongoing supervision and support from the Kindergarten Inclusion Support team.

In addition to a base hourly rate of $26.65 to $29.65 (depending on qualification) and superannuation, you’ll also be able to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits, which can be used for living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

About you

We are looking for motivated self-starters who like using their initiative and feel confident to work in a new team and work environment.

Ideally, you will have some experience working in a Kindergarten and may have your Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care.  You may also have a background working with children with all abilities.

What you will demonstrate, is good communication skills and be a team player, you will have worked with children in some capacity and have the computer skills to navigate and access our systems to submit requests and participate in our organisation.
