Join us as the Lead Educator for our new OSHC program at Bundarra Primary School in Portland. Whether you’re a seasoned educator seeking a flexible schedule, a skilled manager ready for a fresh challenge, or a student looking for part-time hours, we’re here to support you!
In this role, you will drive quality, sustainability, and service delivery. You will support your team in facilitating a program consistent with the National Quality Standards and reflecting the National Quality Framework: My Time, Our Place.
This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality early childhood education and care and build meaningful connections with children, families, and our wider community, all while creating a warm and inclusive learning environment.
The position is part-time working afternoons, Monday to Friday (18 hours per week) and includes non-contact time.
In addition to an hourly rate starting at $32 per hour (negotiable) and superannuation, you can access the following:
You have an enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare, with the ability to form positive relationships with children and team members, and ideally, you’ll have experience gained in Early Childhood or engaging with children in some capacity.
You can lead a team to plan and implement a fun, safe and engaging program that adheres to our laws, regulations and learning frameworks.
You have a current or willingness to obtain first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certificates and a Working with Children check.
There are many different educational pathways to be qualified for this position. Whether it’s a Bachelor of Arts, Science, or a Diploma of Community Services, these are just some of the qualifications equivalent to a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (check your qualification here).
