Your new role

As the Team Leader – Business Support & Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a consistent Quality Management and compliance culture across Uniting Housing.

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the compliance team, providing support & guidance, and fostering a culture of compliance
  • Reviewing, maintaining and publishing the appropriate policies, procedures and standards to maintain Uniting Housing registration
  • Managing compliance reporting, internal audits, and addressing any audit findings or concerns
  • Ensuring all community housing operations comply with local, state, and national regulations.

Your skills and experience

  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline, including community services, social sciences or social housing management
  • Qualification/s in residential property management
  • Experience in the community housing and/or homelessness services sectors (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in the community housing sector (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of asset management, building and safety regulations and standards (highly desirable)
  • Strong skills and experience in quality improvement processes and compliance
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and manage a team in a changing environment
