Women’s Health and Equality Queensland (WHEQ) are leaders in women’s health, gender equality, and the primary prevention of violence. Remuneration: SCHADS Award Level 6 beginning at $106,300 per annum pro rata plus salary sacrificing up to $15,900
Working hours: 0.6 FTE contract (3-4 shifts per week)
Reports to: Women’s Wellbeing Program Lead
Work location: On-site at our South Brisbane office
This leadership role provides clinical oversight and operational support for a specialist counselling service dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and gender-diverse people. This is a new service designed to be accessible, gender-responsive, and healing-centred. The Women’s Wellbeing Line offers up to 10 free sessions per client with the same counsellor, via phone, video, and/or chat.

This is an office-based role in South Brisbane, working within a multidisciplinary team of midwives and counsellors. Each counsellor has a set roster with shifts that include morning, evening and/or Saturday hours to ensure accessibility for participants.
