The Northern Multi-Agency Hub was a government election commitment to support women and families. Led by WSSSA and South Australian Police (SAPOL) the hub will provide a collaborative response to domestic violence early intervention, recovery and prevention.
Risk and Safety Specialist will provide Risk and Safety Reports to SAPOL to safeguard people seeking to withdraw charges, revoke or vary intervention orders. Assessing risk, developing safety management plans and connecting victim-survivors to a range of DFV support services where they are not already connected.
If you are an experienced and passionate practitioner within the DFV sector or strongly related field, this could be your chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of South Australian women and their children by playing a key role in developing integrated practices between SAPOL and various DFV support services.
WSSSA are currently seeking a full-time Risk & Safety Specialist based at our Northern Hub, initially offered on a fixed term contract until March 2026.
To be considered for this position you will have significant experience in the provision of counselling or case management through trauma informed responses and practice, in a domestic violence or strongly related field.
