WWILD – Sexual Violence Prevention Association Inc. is a community-development-based organisation dedicated to achieving social justice and systemic change to uphold the rights of people with intellectual and learning disabilities to live free from violence. We empower individuals by supporting their personal growth, education, and participation in decision-making processes that affect their lives, while addressing their unique needs. Guided by a philosophy that promotes valuing of individuals and societal change, we work alongside people of all genders, recognising the gendered and ableist drivers of interpersonal violence, and its disproportionate impact on women and girls, on gender-diverse adults and children, as well as on cis-men and boys with disabilities.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trauma Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will:

The role is based in-office at Wooloowin 2 days per week, and is an outreach role two days/week, with at least one being in Caboolture, the second in the Sandgate area. Some flexible hours are available by negotiation for wellbeing and work-life balance.
