We are Wyndham, one of Australia’s fastest growing and most diverse cities.
Our people are hard at work designing the precincts, building the infrastructure, developing the policies and delivering the programs that will ensure the City is prepared to welcome over 200,000 new residents by 2040.
Shape new possibilities. Be part of something more.
This is an exciting time to be a part of Wyndham’s early years services! With over 100 babies born every week in the municipality, Wyndham is a growing community that looks for open-minded, passionate, and community-focused people to respond to their needs.
In the Child & Family Support Team, you are integral to the success of the Community Support Department by delivering high-quality customer service and administration skills to facilitate access to Maternal & Child Health services for the community.
This rewarding role will require you to be able to address the needs of our community efficiently and effectively, maintaining compliance with our regulatory and operational requirements and procedures. Never a dull moment in this role, you will thrive with your attention to detail, positive stakeholder collaboration, and exceptional customer service skills.
We are seeking a permanent full-time Child & Family Support Assistant to join our team, as well as two full-time Child & Family Support Assistants in a temporary capacity for two years. These positions will involve supporting the delivery of Maternal & Child Health services to ensure that Wyndham meets the growing demand for these services.
Within the Maternal & Child Health stream, your day-to-day will see you processing notifications of new births in Wyndham, responding to nurse requests, maintaining the appointment calendars, and, crucially, supporting customer access to the service.
Previous experience in MCH, health, early years services, or a similar, highly-regulated environment is desirable.
Look at our job opportunities and you may be surprised at what you discover: a future-focused culture, a sense of purpose and possibility, and real opportunities to strengthen our diverse community. It all adds up to make Wyndham City a great place to belong.
Our people are our most valued asset. We are focused on building a culture that empowers every person to do their best work. Flexibility is built into our DNA and we are committed to cultivating an inclusive workplace that celebrates a diverse workforce. Ask us how this role can be worked.
