About the role:
Reporting to a credible and charismatic leader, the Coordinator Social Infrastructure is a high-profile role with responsibility for planning and delivering innovative, creative and accessible community infrastructure that meets the needs of Wyndham today, tomorrow and into our future.
Leading a collaborative, highly-skilled and passionate team, you will plan and manage a diverse portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects and leverage strong partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups to identify and act on emerging opportunities.

You will deliver:
- Effective and empowering leadership to a dynamic and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team
- A whole-of-Council approach to community infrastructure planning
- Diverse multi-disciplinary project ownership and management across a diverse and rapidly growing portfolio of community infrastructure
- Strategic and cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholder groups
- Translation of integrated service models into functional briefs for community infrastructure
- Strategic identification of external funding, resource sharing and broader partnership opportunities
- High-level evidence-based advice and recommendations to Council and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
You will bring:
- Extensive experience in and expert understanding of innovative social and community infrastructure planning and delivery
- A track record in leading high-performing teams of technical professionals
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence good outcomes at all levels
- A good sense of humour, common sense and resilience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in public policy, social sciences or project management
- Experience and significant achievement in successful outcome delivery within a sensitive, time-pressured and political environment
- Positive, proactive and flexible attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
