The Lactation Consultant will provide excellent education and support to the breastfeeding Women while pursuing self-development in current practice. You will be a champion of breastfeeding and empowerment of Mothers and Families.
Working with a diverse population from a range of backgrounds is one of the reasons our nurses are so passionate about the work that they do with families, where they can really see the difference that they are making for children and their families.
You will be part of a large multidisciplinary team of MCH nurses, immunisation nurses, child and family resource officers and a family violence officer, well supported by a large leadership team.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires someone who is enthusiastic, able to show initiative and work well in a team.
Applying your clinical skills and experience in a community focused environment, with support from your Team Leader to escalate issues and access opportunities for professional development and further training.
