Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Practice Manager to lead the operations of our Aboriginal Medical Service in Wyong and our outreach clinic in Umina NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, providing team leadership, engaging with stakeholders, and managing governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Aboriginal medical service
• Provide leadership and guidance to all staff members
• Ensure that all health services provided are culturally responsive and trauma-informed
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards
• Engage with community to ensure effective service delivery
• Oversee budgeting, financial management, and reporting processes
• Develop policies and procedures to support effective governance

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry
• Degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
• A strong understanding of health issues affecting Aboriginal communities is required
