About the job

  • Role location: Slacks Creek
  • Role type: Permanent, full-time
  • Pay range: $83,046 to $84,826 a year based on experience, with salary sacrificing available

We are looking for a highly skilled, conscientious, confident, motivated and reliable Assessment and Connect Worker for our Assessment and Service Connect team. In this job, you’ll work side by side with Child Safety to assist families during Child Safety investigation and assessment process. You will develop rapport with families and make quick connections to services and supports that will help families keep their children safe. You will:

  • Be able to quickly build connection with parents and children in crisis
  • Have experience in completing accurate family and individual assessments
  • Knowledge of adverse childhood experiences, childhood development and impacts of trauma
  • Be willing to work flexibly across office sites and outreach into homes
  • Contribute to a high-performance team culture
  • Be able to quickly acquire knowledge of Child Safety legislation and practice
