The Opportunity

This unique opportunity presenting multiple Teaching roles (Middle, Senior, HPE and Generalist Teacher) to be based at Yirara College. Set amongst the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges in Alice Springs Australia.

This will be an experience to empower students, create a space for students to learn and make a positive impact on their lives through the message of God’s love and salvation.

The Teacher Role

• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Previous experience as a teacher, preferably working closely with Indigenous students
• Proven ability to effectively engage and work collaboratively, fostering a culture of professionalism, responsibility and open communication
• Commitment to advance the interests and prospects of Indigenous youth
• Willingness to uphold and support the Christian values of the College
• Hold valid, or be willing to obtain, NT Teacher registration and Ochre Card
• Previous experience in teaching ESL is desirable
