ABOUT THE ROLE

The Program Manager, School Buddies is a hands-on role responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing the School Buddies program. School Buddies operates within Support Schools, working with mainstream schools to bring students living with disability together with mainstream students in a ‘reverse inclusion’ type model.

This position includes developing program structures, managing timetables, coordinating with schools, organising resources, and supporting participants and buddies to ensure program objectives are met.

The Program Manager will primarily focus on program operations and oversight but will also provide direct supervision and support to mainstream participants, ensuring a holistic and supportive program environment.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience in program management, ideally within the disability and/or school sector.

You will love working with young people of all abilities, as well as managing a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple schools and community organisations. You will have excellent attention to detail for organisational, planning and time management abilities.

You will have a strong passion for creating awareness and advocating for disability and creating change in our future generations. Exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality will be a key skill.
