We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist with experience in developing digital performance marketing strategies and executing tactical campaigns across paid search, social and display platforms.

You’ll be joining a small (but growing) team of passionate marketing professionals and working with clients across a range of industries including publishing, ecommerce, and technology.

A day in the life of our Digital Marketing Strategist might include:

  • Developing advertising strategies for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Google Ads
  • Managing and optimising ad campaigns across Google Search, Google Shopping, Google Display, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
  • Managing campaigns in-line with strategy and budget.
  • Producing insightful and accurate weekly and monthly reports with clear recommendations and actions.
  • Running and reporting on split tests and experiments on digital ads campaigns.
  • Analysing data, reviewing results, generating insights and recommendations to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Crafting high converting direct response copy for lead generation, and ecommerce advertising campaigns.
  • Preparing briefs that guide designers to produce high performing ad creative.
  • Mentoring junior staff within our marketing team.
  • Attending client meetings to present results, share insights and recommendations.
  • Finishing up at 5pm (because our business model isn’t based on burning out our people with hectic deadlines, client work overload, and unpaid overtime)

And you’ll possess these essential skills:

  • Methodical approach to campaign planning and management
  • Ability to think strategically on macro and micro levels
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytics experience
  • Accurate and detailed — typos and data inaccuracies don’t slip past you
  • Brilliant communicator — our team and clients will always know what’s what
  • Ability to establish benchmarks and set and measure KPIs
  • Confidently prove/disprove hypotheses and come up with your own
  • 5 years experience in a digital marketing role
  • Prior experience in an agency (or managing multiple brands in-house)

Bonus points if you:

  • Are a gun at building Google Data Studio reports
  • Can handle VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, and Macros in Excel
  • Wrangle Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads manager like a pro
  • Are a self-starter who’s ready to rise up and own their role

This role is full-time ~ flexible working arrangements will be considered. This position is currently remote due to COVID restrictions. We’re in the process of organising a new office in Mornington and will offer staff the opportunity to work on-site or remotely in a co-working space local to their area (or from home if suitable).
