About the Facilities and Maintenance Officer role

Work as part of the Facilities and Maintenance team to provide core maintenance service delivery to all YourCH sites and facilities.

Reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator, this is a fixed term role until 24 January 2025 with options for part-time or full-time, minimum of 22.8 hours per week (0.6 FTE).

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Undertake repairs and maintenance tasks in a prompt manner
  • Maintain compliance with scheduled building and grounds maintenance program
  • Coordinate contractors for relevant work
  • Maintain a safe and attractive environment for clients and staff
  • Ensure the facilities are always presented to a high standard

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a broad range of maintenance skills and knowledge of building and grounds maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in engaging with sub-contractors
  • Knowledge of OH&S regulations and commitment to its implementation
  • Attention to detail and capacity to identify and achieve a high standard in work quality
  • Valid Driver's License
