About the Podiatrist role

Join a dynamic, client-focused team delivering exceptional podiatry services to diverse communities. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, with support in reflective practice, clinical skill development, and peer knowledge sharing, as well as access to tailored professional development activities. No home visits - all clinic-based work only! Ideal for experienced Grade 1 podiatrists (min. 2 years of clinical experience preferred) or Grade 2 podiatrists.

This flexible part-time position offers a total of 0.4 FTE the potential for additional hours. Reporting to the Podiatry Coordinator, you’ll benefit from structured individual supervision and ongoing support to develop your career.

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Deliver high-quality care through comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and implementation
  • Empower clients by applying self-management principles, health coaching, and motivational interviewing
  • Collaborate with referral sources and health professionals to facilitate seamless client care and transitions
  • Evaluate client progress and outcomes, providing clear communication to clients and stakeholders
  • Manage a diverse podiatry caseload, ensuring adherence to the podiatry scope of practice across various funding streams and community groups

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years of podiatry clinical experience
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload across various funding streams
  • Passion for providing high-quality, evidence-based podiatry services
  • Strong communication skills and experience in multidisciplinary teams and vulnerable clients
