We are recruiting an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Services team here at yourtown. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial information and the facilitation of timely provision of financial and statutory reporting. You will analyse complex financial data, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for optimising financial performance.

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Partner closely with our yourtown Art Union to support with timely revenue reconciliation.
  • Perform specialist financial tasks and provide specialist advice, support and reporting to yourtown stakeholders.
  • Have a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct research, analyse and investigate complex general ledger and reconciliation financial management issues, and execute impactful solutions.

  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and hold a professional accounting registration like CA or CPA.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting and finance.
  • Well-developed ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Bring a dynamic, results-oriented attitude, and excel in an environment that embraces organisational change.
  • Be a team player and willing to lean in to get the job done.
