The Cairns Youth Residential Rehabilitation Service is an exciting collaboration scheduled to open in a purpose-built facility in the second half of 2025.

We are looking to establish the Manager position as soon as possible so the incumbent can play an active and pivotal role in the further recruitment and establishment of operational policies and procedures.

New Manager to commence in June 2025.

The position:

  • Based in Cairns, Queensland (Occasional travel may be required)
  • 11.5 % Employer Superannuation Contribution
  • Permanent
  • Full-Time (76 Hours per fortnight)
  • Remuneration SCHADS level 8 or RPN5 or RN5 equivalent, dependent on qualifications and experience.

This is a formal leadership role and therefore is responsible for inspiring a shared vision, modelling a values-based approach, and creating a culture in which new ways of working are encouraged and enabled.

The incumbent will be responsible for the management of a 24-hour work environment over 7 days of the week, and includes overseeing quality and safety processes, staffing, rostering, risk assessment and mitigation, and ongoing program development.
