Zonta House Refuge Association (Zonta House) is a specialist provider of family and domestic violence (FDV) services. Our purpose, values, and services have been informed through 40 years of experience, the needs of women in our community, and research in leading practice.

Zonta House provides a suite of services for women experiencing FDV that reinforce one another and represent the core of Zonta House’s work. That is, when the voices of women are heard, our responses uphold the dignity, build on safety, and challenge the drivers of abuse. Victims/Survivors of FDV are able to access responsive and person-centered support based on their needs to build a future free from abuse.

About the role

It is an exciting and rare opportunity to contribute to the prevention of family and domestic violence in our community. This role will be responsible for the delivery of our Empowerment through Education training program which focuses on bystander interventions and improving safety and responses to victims/survivors across Western Australia.  The role will include leading the implementation plan,  program development, including marketing and leads acquisition, relationship management and training facilitation. 

The position is offered as either part-time or full-time, dependent on the successful candidate's preferences.  The position is a fixed-term contract until the end of December 2025, with the possibility of an extension. You will be based in Bentley and working across the Perth Metropolitan as required.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Extensive experience in training delivery and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience and outcomes in delivering engaging training presentations.
  • Comprehensive understanding, knowledge and experience working in family and domestic violence support.
  • Knowledge of CRARMF, safety planning and case management practices preferred.
  • Experience with developing, evaluating and facilitating engaging, online and face-to-face training programs
  • High skills and confidence in public speaking.
  • Demonstrate successful and proactive engagement strategies with diverse stakeholders and participants.
  • Demonstrated experience in adhering to organisational contractual obligations including, report writing and outcome measurement tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise responsibilities.
  • Qualifications in Community Services, Mental Health, Social Sciences, Psychology or Social Work, desirable.

The successful candidate will need to provide:

  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • A valid motor vehicle driver's license with good driving records
