The Senior Reporter roles are responsible for developing and delivering appealing digital content about our animals, campaigns, activities, events and people, which engages our targeted audiences, promotes Zoos Victoria's fighting extinction message and encourages visitation.

As part of the Digital Newsroom team, the Senior Reporters will proactively identify public relations opportunities for Zoos Victoria and liaise with the other Senior Reporters to ensure a coordinated approach to pitching stories to traditional media and digital channels.

The successful applicant will have superb writing skills and a keen eye for newsworthy content, an excellent working knowledge of traditional and new media, a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, be highly organised, and have a passion for wildlife and the environment.
