We are looking for a team of dedicated professionals for the Mt Isa After Hours (MIAH) program three full-time (38 hours per week) positions are available. The program is part of our Domestic Family Violence Specialist Support Service in Mount Isa. In these full-time permanent positions, you'll work within a case management framework in an outreach role, providing support to individuals who are experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence. Based in Mount Isa you will work closely with Queensland Police Service to provide an afterhours response. Hours will be on a roster system and will be worked between 2pm and 10pm seven days a week, with potential to be on-call when required.
You're an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting families within a child centred, strengths-based framework. Importantly, you have a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and you're keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Indigenous families.
