About the Role...

The Aboriginal Liaison Officer provides transport service of Anyinginyi Health Services Clinic for clients as well as excellent customer service. You will be part of a high performing multi-disciplinary team, respecting Aboriginal values, beliefs, customs, language, and traditional practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain policies and procedures including the Motor Vehicle Policy and rules regarding bus pick-up service
  • Driving in a safe manner and in accordance with NT traffic laws and regulations at all times
  • Driving Anyinginyi vehicles for the purposes of transporting patients from home to the Health Centre and return
  • Responding in a timely manner to Health Centre calls for support
  • Maintain serviceability of vehicle including the daily lock up and security
  • Undertake weekly cleaning and checks on the vehicle

About you...

To be successful in this role, you must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent as this is an Aboriginal Identified position and demonstrated experience in driving a mini-bus and four wheel-drive vehicles.

  • Demonstrated ability in driving a mini-bus and four wheel-drive vehicles
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Courteous and helpful, excellent customer service skills
  • An Ochre Card (NT Working with Children’s card) obtainment is a requirement prior to commencement in this role. Please refer to NT Safe for further information.
  • All Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation employees must be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • To be successful in this role, you need to have the right to live and work in Australia
