About us

The Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre opened as an op-shop/Fix-it Centre in 1980 arising from a need in the west ward of Waverley for a local organisation providing a range of goods and services that the residents could afford. The ANC now provides a range of community support services, holds a wide selection of classes and is home to one of Melbourne's best Op shops.  ANC was incorporated in June 1986.

ANC values flexible working arrangements and embraces workplace diversity, inclusion, and equality. ANC is a safe place for all staff, volunteers and community members and we are committed to zero tolerance to all forms of bullying and harassment.
