About the role

The Commercial & Investment Director will lead the Commercial & Investments team, reporting to the CEO.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategise, source and execute investments that accelerate progress towards Boundless’ mission
• Leverage investor and commercial networks to originate and lead high-impact investments and commercial projects and grants
• Contribute to overall Boundless strategy development
• Represent Boundless mission and vision to the Australian commercial and investment community

About You

You will be a highly organised and outcomes-oriented person, who is adaptable and can work autonomously.

Key attributes of the successful candidate:

• Strong commercial acumen, experience in impact investment or generalist investment or commercial background
• Understanding of climate change, decarbonisation and net zero pathways of different sectors and their contribution to Australia becoming a renewable superpower. Networks and contacts in these areas and the commercial sector. Strong technical understanding of decarbonisation technologies across sectors.
• Strategy development experience (ideally in climate or impact investing).
• Strong organisational and project management skills with a track record of getting things done. Good at managing large amounts of information across multiple projects in a fast-moving team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Excellent ability to develop trust and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
• High emotional intelligence and accountability
• Low-ego with a track record of partnering to achieve results
