The Role

We are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Housing Support Officer in the Brookvale Office. This role is a permanent full-time position.

The Housing Support Officer works within the wider Customer and Communities teams and provides administrative and back up support to the Housing team to ensure consistent quality service delivery to our customers. This role will assist to maintain accurate records and reporting for the team as well.

The priority for all Housing Support Officers is providing exceptional administrative support and customer service while upholding our values in every step and action.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Deliver consistent quality services to tenants in the portfolio by adhering to the service levels outlined in the Customer Service Charter and relevant Housing policies and procedures.
  • Support the Housing Team to meet their KPI's by being a backup Housing Manager in their absence and providing administrative support to help them manage their portfolios
  • Support the Leasehold Coordinator where required in placing people in appropriate homes by undertaking rigorous searches of the rental property market, attending inspections, securing properties for rent and maintaining accurate records in the relevant IT system
  • Support the Housing Team meets its regulatory and compliance obligations by updating and maintaining accurate property and customer records in the relevant IT and records management systems.
  • Support the Housing team meet their KPI's and improve their overall performance by developing and preparing reports for analysis and review.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the success and growth of Bridge Housing and its reputation by maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, keeping abreast of relevant legislation affecting the sector and our client group, and developing and maintaining one's own skills and abilities.
