- Classification & Salary: Level 1-2 Organiser $79,512 to $102,696 (includes Organiser Expense Allowance paid as salary) + 15.4% superannuation
- Position reports to: Lead Organiser (PPCU) is the line manager. Will also be working closely with the National Political Coordinator and the Victorian Regional Secretary.

Overview of Position
The primary function of this role is to coordinate CPSU political and community campaigning and organising activities in Victoria in support of the CPSU political plan. This position will involve out of hours and field work.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of CPSU political, public and community organising plans and election activities, in particular working with the Victorian Regional Secretary and local Executive Committee member to increase and support CPSU member engagement, political and community campaigning.
- Coordinate with CPSU organising teams on political, public and community campaigning:
- Identify and develop activists and volunteers.
- Organise member activities and forums.
- Draft CPSU campaign materials e.g., surveys, news articles, web-based activities, letters.
- Recruit new members to the CPSU.
- Implement national campaigns at the local level.
- Organiser for Members of Parliament Staff (Federal) in Victoria in accordance with National MOPs plan.
- Developing digital content for campaigns such as Proud to Be Public and Respect Our Labour.
- Implement other strategies and campaigns as developed by the Executive Committee of the CPSU.
- Assist with other areas of team responsibility such as policy and research work and parliamentary monitoring.
