We have a position available for an experienced project manager to lead large-scale logistics and coordination of GetUp’s Election Day and pre-poll work across the country for the 2022 Federal Election.
In this role you will be responsible for the production, ordering and delivery of polling booth materials and supplies to GetUp members across the country, ensuring that the right items get to the right places at the right time. Your efforts will help get important issue-based information about local candidates into the hands of voters right as they cast their ballot, helping to strengthen our democracy.
At GetUp we know our capacity to drive progressive change is increased when our team has a diversity of backgrounds and experience — and especially comes from a background of lived experience on the issues we work on.
The GetUp movement is powered by the values and hopes of one million members, movement partners and a central team of expert strategists.
Together, we do whatever it takes, with fierce integrity, to make extraordinary impact.
We focus our campaigns on the areas our members care about most in the fields of Environmental Justice, Human Rights, Economic Fairness, First Nations Justice and Democratic Integrity. From making sure hundreds of thousands of people are able to vote in elections, to successfully stopping major projects threatening the Great Barrier Reef, or fighting against an offshore regime of detention and deterrence of people seeking asylum – we have a decade-long history of mobilising a movement to really win.
From summertime bushfires to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Morrison government has let many people down and left people behind. Mr Morrison’s leadership fails everyday people because he works for his mining mates and the big end of town. Communities have the solutions we need, but the Morrison government is not listening to everyday people. So this election we’re putting people back into politics. We’ll listen to the people and communities who Morrison has ignored, platform their voices, and share their hopes and dreams for a fairer future and a safer climate.
We can’t afford to leave politics to the politicians alone. GetUp will be fighting to change politics from the ground up in the upcoming election — and we’ll do it together.

If even a couple of these criteria speak to you, you could be the perfect person for the job. Formal education, qualifications and extensive experience matter less to us than excellence, initiative and drive.
