Community Support Incorporated is a leading provider of home care services in the disability and aged care sectors, as well as support coordination services, in both metropolitan and regional locations across South Australia. The Board has overall responsibility for the business affairs, preparing the goals and overall strategy of the organisation, setting annual financial budgets, and approving the company’s statutory accounts. The Board is chaired by an Independent Director and contains a relevant mix of individuals with sector, commercial and governance experience.

New Directors required

We have an opportunity to bring on new members in key areas of IT, Property, and Clinical Governance, to join our Board of Directors.

Qualifications and experience

• Successful applicants will have broad knowledge, qualifications and experience in current issues and opportunities relevant to not-for-profit organisations, aged care and the disability sector. More specifically, we seek applicants who are experts in the key areas of IT, Property and Governance.

Appointment

• The appointment is initially for three years, with the opportunity to extend the tenure for a further 3 years and offers appropriate remuneration for the services that will be provided. Board meetings are held monthly and Board members are encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible either in person or via teams.
