We are seeking an expert in digital marketing and fundraising for a maternity cover through to the end of September with the possibility of extension. This position will help us develop and execute strategies to grow our digital footprint and attract and retain new supporters and donors through outstanding, best-practice digital communications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with CEO and campaign staff to assist and advise on digital marketing strategy to grow and retain supporters
  • Work with Fundraising Manager on strategies for digital donor acquisition and retention
  • Analyse digital data and advise on best-practice to ensure website optimisation for supporter engagement
  • Conduct social media audits to ensure best practice
  • Maintain digital dashboard of several different accounts
  • Prepare emails, e-newsletters and social media posts for action and donation asks and supporter retention
  • Set up marketing and retention automations
  • Conduct A/B testing and further develop best-practice standards for digital communications to keep them current within the changing digital landscape
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success
  • Create and maintain online listings across platforms
  • Ensure that the brand message and tone are consistent and appropriate across platforms
  • Boost supporter and donor engagement across platforms
  • Conduct regular data hygiene processes to ensure CRM records are kept up-to-date
  • Support fundraising administration staff as required to manage integration of digital and donor CRM records.
  • Adhere to HSI policy and procedures
  • Maintain a safe workplace

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or similar

Experience

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Digital Marketing
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Digital Fundraising
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Engaging Networks, Sprout Social and Future Mail preferred.
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Experience executing digital acquisition and retention campaigns for excellent results
  • Knowledge of video and picture editing software such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro
