Specialist Centre

The LLWSC primarily supports clients from all LLW services including the Mirikai Residential Rehabilitation program and a range of Youth, Family and Community AOD programs.

Each day you will work with a dynamic cohort of clients providing holistic follow-up of mental, physical, and sexual health as well as chronic disease monitoring under the Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS). There is the ability in the role to utilise and provide guidance and recommendations with the well-established and professional multi-disciplinary team.

There is also the flexibility to bring your private client load with you and continue to see community clients within the Specialist Centre.

We are inviting experienced Psychologists and/or Mental Health Accredited Social Workers to join our services in the Specialist Centre located in Burleigh Heads.

• Tertiary qualifications in psychology or mental health social work (or similar field).
• Successful experience working with clients that are 12-25 years old is desired.
• Comfortable working with vulnerable clients.
• Experience working in the Alcohol and Drug sector is highly regarded but not necessary.
• Current AHPRA or AASW membership.
• Have ABN number and professional indemnity insurance.
• Medicare eligibility.
