Mind’s short stay Youth Step-Up and Step-Down (YSUSD) program within the Sub-Acute program is delivered through partnerships with QLD hospital networks. Young people between the ages of 16 – 21 years are able to access specialist clinical mental health staff 24 hours a day whilst supporting connections with family and friends as well as learning strategies to live fulfilling lives within their community. The SUSD’s provide a schedule of group activities alongside individual 1:1 support based on strengths and goals identified in recovery plans.
We have casual opportunities available for a passionate, motivated Community Mental Health Practitioners to work on a 24/7 rotating roster in the Woodridge area. You will be for delivering person-centred services to clients, families and carers and supporting young people to recover from mental health challenges and by developing life skills in a residential setting.
