Your role
- Coordinate the Headspace Sexual Health Psycho-Education clinic
- Work with our Community Engagement Coordinator to establish strong partnerships with local schools and GP clinics
- Provide information to any professionals, families, and young people regarding physical health issues and sexual health issues
- Work with GP if recruited to ensure smooth operation of GP clinic
- Physical health checks as determined within the scope of a practice nurse role
What you will bring
- Proven experience in the day to day running of a fast paced clinic
- Ability to deliver and manage treatment plans with young people
- Understanding of the primary health concerns and challenges that young people face
- Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife; Division 1 (General)
- Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)
- Current Victorian Accredited Nurse Immuniser
- Current Certificate in Emergency Management following Adverse Reactions to Vaccine
- Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing) or similar
- Current Working With Children Check (Employee)
- Not listed on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme list
