We are looking to recruit Registered Nurses with a minimum of two years of experience for our Special Care Unit in Randwick. Current opportunities exist for those seeking permanent part-time and casual employment.

This key role will have you working closely with highly skilled and committed interdisciplinary teams including our Clinical Nurse Specialist, Deputy Care Manager and Executive Care Manager who pride themselves in delivering the highest standards of care to our Residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out resident clinical assessments and maintaining resident documentation
  • Supervision and development of Nursing Assistants (AINs)
  • Promoting Choice, Dignity and Wellbeing of all residents
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with residents, family members and staff

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for aged care
  • Experience working with residents or patients with dementia
  • Flexible availability
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor your staff
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy

Desirable Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and Aged Care accreditation standards

To be considered for this role you must be able to work a minimum of three days a week to ensure consistency of care for our residents.
