The Transport Team Leader is expected to be available for a minimum of 70 Hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm. 

The role of the Transport Safety Team Leader oversees the management and training of the Myrtle Cottage vehicles which provide daily client transport and Work Health and Safety requirements of the organisation. This role ensures the building maintenance of the Myrtle Cottage and the co-ordination of all vehicle maintenance and training requirements.

Essential Criteria:

• Current Light Rigid (LR) driver’s license.
• National Police Check.
• Health and Safety Representative qualification.
• Experience leading, supervising, directing and supporting volunteers.

• An understanding of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Experience working as a team member.
• Demonstrated ability with computer skills, particularly data bases and excel.
• A demonstrated ability to write reports. 

Desirable Criteria

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Ability to liaise with other staff and community services.
