Carer Recruiter - Home Based Care - Melton

As the Carer Recruiter for our Home Based Care program you have one of the most important jobs in the whole program, and one of the most challenging, recruiting the carers. This is a large program with existing carers, we need a recruiter to continue to build our pool of carers and market our services effectively. You will work closely with our marketing team to drive interest and recruit effective carers across the west of Melbourne.

Duties:

  • Carer Support and assessment
  • Recruitment of foster carers
  • Work closely with marketing
  • Field carer queries by phone
  • Present and deliver information sessions
  • Ensure relevant paperwork and administrative work is up to standard for reporting
  • Take all enquiries from new carers and potential carers

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualification in, Human Services, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology with experience of training and assessment and foster care
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role, out of home care, foster care, kinship, foster care recruitment
  • Current driving license (essential)
  • Comprehensive understanding of foster care
  • Marketing and recruitment experience (essential)
  • Delivery of information sessions
