This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced learning designer to join Relationships Australia Victoria at our Training and Development centre.

Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is a secular, community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations who have been providing services to the Victorian community for over 70 years. About the role

RAV is also a registered Training Organisation (RTO) and provider of a higher education qualification. As a Learning Designer, you will be a key member of the Training and Development team that is delivering a national training program.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Training and Development, your responsibilities include creating and curating content for a suite of accredited courses and public training offerings including the iterative design and development of graduate diploma units and associated learning materials. You will assist/develop online training courses for internal staff and external clients that is coherent, engaging and high-quality, and implementing them in the Learning Management System (LMS).

This is a casual position and located in Camberwell. The successful candidate will display exceptionally high standards of professional behaviour, including advanced communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications, skills and experience

• Relevant qualifications in Education, Learning Design/Instructional Design/eLearning or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years’ experience in digital learning and/or design and working with a LMS such as Moodle.
• Demonstrated understanding of academic and vocational educational and training requirements, ensuring compliance and quality assurance in relation to training services and products.
• Extensive experience and skills in working in a developmental role with a provider of education and training services including course design and content, andragogy, assessment and articulation.
• Experience in working with UX and UI design methodologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary research in education and training, especially in the context of the not-for-profit and community services sector.
