The position available is:
- Ongoing full-time (76 hours per fortnight)
- Based with our Prestige Packing team at Marrickville
- Working Monday to Friday
- Grade 5 (Supervisor) on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018) equivalent to $63,000 p.a. + 10% Super
As the Supervisor you will
- Ensure that efficient and quality work is carried out whilst ensuring employees' and business service satisfaction
- Utilise your excellent time management skills to plan and direct daily production activities to ensure that operations are efficient, effective and meet the organisation's requirements
- Provide employees with the training, support and resources they require to efficiently complete their tasks in a safe environment, in compliance with the terms of the Enterprise Agreement, Disability Service Standards, Workplace Health and Safety legislation and other relevant requirements
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees, remaining patient, empathetic and understanding
This position also has a hands-on component that requires Supervisors to work with and alongside employees and to assist the team to meet the production targets.

- Support: to increase awareness of mental health issues and to encourage businesses to support the Community Businesses.
Selection Criteria
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture, packaging, warehousing and/or cleaning (or willingness to obtain).
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of machinery and equipment
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and the client information management system.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of mental health issues.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Current class LF forklift license, or be willing to obtain.
