ABOUT RUNNING FOR PREMATURE BABIES

Running for Premature Babies is a registered Australian charity whose vision is for a better chance of survival and quality of life for premature babies. Over 16 years, Running for Premature Babies has raised over $5 million, has funded neonatal research and provided more than 100 pieces of lifesaving neonatal equipment. Our work has directly benefitted over 8000 babies.

Historically, our work has been performed by a large group of volunteers and a small number of part-time paid staff. Recently however, the organisation has appointed a full-time CEO and embarked on an expansion drive. This advertised role will be critical to the success of the expansion of the charity and the impact we will have.

THE ROLE

You will initially be working closely with the CEO and the Founder. Your role will be to support both with administrative and marketing functions, such as:

• sending electronic direct email
• posting to social media and forward planning the SM calendar
• responding to email and social media enquiries
• updating audience lists
• writing communications and developing engaging marketing materials
• updating the website

Currently both the CEO and Founder work from home, both in Coogee, NSW. This advertised role will have a work from home component but in the future there may be a requirement to work from an office, likely to be close to Coogee.

This is a diverse role and each day will be different. You'll need a license and access to a car as sometime we need to move inventory around, deliver various things and set up for events.

We're looking for someone who can work autonomously and can pick up new technology quickly. You'll need to be able to write in an engaging way and have the energy to juggle a range of competing tasks.
