Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is a not-for-profit arts organisation whose vision is to be a global leader in the promotion of diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice through culture, creativity and partnerships.

The Board of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is recruiting a suitably qualified candidate to the position of Company Secretary. This appointment concurrently serves the Boards of both Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Mardi Gras Arts.

The role of the Company Secretary includes:

• Advising the Board and its committees on governance matters
• Preparing Board agendas and coordinating the timely circulation of papers
• Ensuring that the business at Board meetings is accurately captured in the minutes
• Conducting of business at annual general meetings and other general meetings
• Knowledge management of relevant documentation
• Timely management of all statutory reporting.
