ABOUT STUDIO ARTES

Studio ARTES is a not for profit organisation that delivers creative programs in visual arts, performing arts, and life skills for adults living with disability. Established in 2000, Studio ARTES supports over 260 people with a variety of disabilities, including people living with mild to moderate intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorders, mild to moderate physical disabilities, and down syndrome. Creative programs are member driven, based on consistent feedback from participants, ingrained in a culture of inclusion, equity, and respect. Bespoke creative programs and professional development opportunities are offered at our studios in Hornsby and Sydenham, community sites across Sydney, and online.

SUMMARY

An administration assistant works both individually and as part of our team in the office at Studio ARTES. They are a part of the administrative side of the organisation, doing various tasks that help Studio ARTES run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. They will often speak with people on the phone, work with others in the office, and write/edit miscellaneous items such as grants, procedures, and organisational emails. They also have a part in onboarding new clients.
