Summer Housing is undertaking a full business transformation and requires the capability and experience of a high performing change agent to lead us through an incredibly exciting journey over the next 12 months.

This is an amazing opportunity to help drive organisational change and further increase Summer Housing’s capacity and capability to support People with Disability to live where they want, with who they want and how they want. Summer Housing is a leading provider of quality, contemporary housing for people with disability with over 400 properties across Australia.

Reporting to the CEO, the purpose of this new role is to implement a new organisational structure and associated change plan to meet the needs of current tenants as well as for anticipated growth to realise the Summer Housing Strategy for the coming years.

The Position:

This pivotal role will not only be able to deliver the program of change, but be THE change! This person will drive the implementation of the new structure, and also develop a roadmap of cultural change to set the organisation up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of a business restructure
• Undertake team consultation and build feedback into the planning process
• Ensure compliance with all Award and other IR requirements
• Develop and implement a change and communications plan
• Work closely with the CEO to develop messaging and keep the team up to date
• Deliver quality advice and reporting to the Board and Executive throughout
• Be available to the team for questions and concerns
• Develop a roadmap with the CEO to build the culture of the organisation following the restructure and lead initiatives within the roadmap
• Undertake recruitment as required
• Deliver induction to all new starters
• Participation in regular meetings as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Business or similar with expertise in organisational transformation and change programs

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering organisational transformational initiatives including restructures
• Demonstrated experience in change planning and internal communications
• Ability to build rapport across all levels of an organisation and build trust and confidence
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Superior project management skills with the ability to get things done and deliver in full and on time
• Experience in the end to end recruitment and induction processes
• Good understanding of Industrial Relations requirements for employers
• An innate and or trained understanding of what drives people and the ability to motivate them
• Experience driving cultural change to one of high performance and accountability
