The Bryan Education Foundation is seeking an amazing person to join the FamilyLinQ team as a FamilyLinQ Partnerships Manager at Kingston State School.

FamilyLinQ is a collaborative initiative of The Bryan Foundation and the Queensland Government delivering Queensland’s first two ‘purpose-built integrated school-based hubs. The first will be located at Kingston State School and will open in the second half of 2023.

FamilyLinQ will bring together education, health, and community services within the school setting to form dynamic, integrated school-based community hubs to improve students and their families' health, education, and life outcomes. Designed to connect government and community services, this co-designed model will support children and families as they grow, learn and thrive.

About the role

The Partnerships Manager (Kingston State School) will oversee the collaborative development and implementation of the FamilyLinQ approach at Kingston State School. The role has primary responsibility for creating a welcoming environment and rich range of experiences and supports that local children and their families will find most beneficial in their journey through early childhood, school, and beyond.

The position will lead the partnerships with the Kingston State School community and regional partners in health, community services, and other sectors. The role will work directly with the school principal, the Hub Implementation Group (HIG), partner organisations, regional stakeholders, community leaders, parents, students, and others in the school community.

This position will manage the FamilyLinQ staff on-site, providing direction, supervision, support, and professional development and guidance. It will also be responsible for driving integrated and common approaches among service delivery partners to provide the best possible experiences for local children and families. The Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading effective site strategic and implementation planning, engagement, data gathering, and regular reporting on site progress.

The Partnerships Manager will also work with the broader FamilyLinQ team on program strategic planning & priorities, evaluation planning, research activities, communication, and continuous improvement.
