  • 2 Full time Admin Officer roles - 1 in Mt Druitt, 1 in Penrith
  • Community Mental Health Clinical Services 
  • $30 per hour + super + salary packaging

The Administrative Officer is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the mental health services headspace - community mental health for 12-25 years old. This includes support for the clinicians, private contractors, medical staff, other onsite service providers, as well as reception coverage. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration, or equivalent to the field of work
  • Two (2) or more years experience in administration
  • Intermediate to Advanced level capability in Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint

Even Better

  • Advanced computer skills to learn and adapt with the systems
  • Previous experience in a medical reception environment
  • Experience working in an NGO, youth services, and/or in mental health setting

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide daily administrative support to staff members, private practice and consortium of the site as required
  • High-level of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and to work to deadlines. Support productive relationships with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently and with people at all levels
  • Flexible approach, including the ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative, and have a proactive approach to problem resolution.
