About the Opportunity

We have exciting opportunities for Exercise Specialists, Exercise Scientists and Exercise Physiologists to join our growing Home and Community Care team in the ACT region. We offer these roles on full-time, part-time and casual basis, at the preference of the successful candidate. 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in your field of expertise, supporting the development, implementation and facilitation of one-on-one in home, and group-based programs, in line with each client’s needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting health screenings and assessments
  • Facilitating, monitoring and reviewing individual programs
  • Working with clients, their families, co-workers as well as other services so that the service we deliver is the best it can be

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in field of expertise
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle

What to expect

Please know that employment with Uniting requires:

  • AHPRA/ESSA Registration Checks
  • A National Police Check
  • Reference checks
  • Other pre-employment screenings
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required (2 doses). Current extension until 4 December 2022 for the third dose.
