Werribee Business & Tourism Association (WBTA) is a membership-based organisation led by a volunteer board of management that supports and advocates for the interests of Werribee and surrounds, with a particular focus on the city centre and working strategically with local government and other critical partners.

about the role

The WBTA Board is seeking to engage an enthusiastic and experienced Project Officer - Campaign Coordinator to manage a new project, the Liveable, Loveable Werribee Project, with clear outcomes. Our expectation is that this seedling project will enable further funded work, and the creation of an- Executive Officer into the future.

This initial project is part-time, 10-12 hours a week for 6-7 months.

The key tasks of the role will be to:

• Establish and maintain partnerships with members and key stakeholders
• Manage and improve our communications
• Prepare funding applications and manage projects
• Coordinate campaigns to drive sales, engagement and collaborations for members business and for Werribee City Centre and surrounds

This role is suited to someone who can work independently, with their own office set-up, and has time to commit to a growing trader association.
