Fundraising Retention & Engagement Specialist

About the role

As the Fundraising Retention and Engagement Specialist you will create, execute and evolve strategies to increase customer engagement, loyalty and retention across yourtown’s Art Union and Donor platforms in order to increase both revenue and profile.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a customer focused strategy for reengagement, retention and activation across direct marketing channels to establish deep and meaningful connections with our customers;
  • Analysing the effectiveness of our retention strategies and using data to champion future improvement strategies;
  • Leading change in digital transformation from legacy system to new platforms;
  • Driving our loyalty programs and customer life cycle pathways with a strategic lens to grow customer lifecycle value;
  • Creating engaging copy across yourtown’s fundraising mediums.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Tertiary education in Marketing or similar coupled with demonstrated experience within email broadcasting and email campaign management;
  • Strong experience in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention;
  • Subject matter expertise in lifecycle marketing and CRM with the ability to conceptualise and map key customer trigger points;
  • Demonstrated experience working in Loyalty or Rewards programs;
  • Proven ability in creating out of the box, engaging content;
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills with a diverse array of stakeholders;
  • Highly developed communication skills and strong presentation skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking coupled with a results driven attitude.
